FOUNDATIONAL EXPERIENCE

The formation of the Screen Production Department is informed by the professional journey of our founder, Aroji Otieno — an actor, director, and producer working across stage and screen. His television work includes the hit series Jambaz, aired on Nation Media Group, alongside multiple film and media projects developed during his tenure as Creative and Film Director at Film Aid. This experience shaped Bold’s understanding of screen storytelling — balancing artistic integrity with production discipline.

FILM COLLABORATION

A significant milestone in Bold’s screen development emerged during the Bold International Symposium 2025, supported by CultureHub and the Seoul Institute of the Arts. The symposium resulted in the production of two major films directed by Professor Christian Tapies.
